1. Quadriceps.
2. Lateral and medial hamstrings, sartorius, gracilis, gastrocnemius.
3. Medial hamstrings, sartorius, gracilis.
4. Biceps femoris.
5. The popliteus locks and unlocks the knee. It is innervated by the tibial nerve (L4, L5, S1).
